Reflection:This blog reminds us that it is important to create programming for every demographic within our community. It can be applied to any group, our library has created programs geared toward seniors, singles, mothers and daughters,and small business owners.

LIBRARY PROGRAMMING-- INTRODUCTION COMPETENCY

The purpose of this blog is to fulfill assignment requirements for course LS 5013.20 at Texas Woman's University. Each competency will take a look at programming , outreach efforts, or ideas in public library programming throughout the United States. We will examine how public libraries attempt to serve all facets of their communities taking into consideration :age, ethnicity, access and gender.
